Isaiah writes the songs for The Eeries. His thought-provoking and detailed lyrics create songs that you want to listen to over and over again, so you can grasp the full meaning behind each melody. Isaiah has been very open in interviews about the fact that he grew up in a cult, and as a child music was not something he was allowed to have, but he found ways to get it and this created a place for him to get out his thoughts and creativity. He has also said how he wants "Cool Kid", their single off of this EP, to be a kind of anthem for people who feel out of place and different.
The band has a very organic and guitar heavy sound. The Eeries have been very adamant about the fact that they do not alter their music in any way, and everything is recorded live as a band in a studio. By recording live, the album has a certain emotion and sense of life to it that other bands simply miss out on. The rhythm in each song is relatively simple, but the way that Nadir plays it adds another layer to this music that sets it apart from others.
In their song "Overrated", they open the song with a strong and unique bass riff.
then the drums come in with a loud, rhythmic beat that continues throughout the entire song, with the drums comes a great guitar hook, and all of this leads into a set of intelligent, lively lyrics that draw the listener in. This song contains two of my favorite lines from the EP: "...we're raising kids on TV ads and telling them that feeling bad is not okay; take pills, go play..." and "...soccer moms and dads who go to church and protest fags are secretly the most fucked up, on drugs..." These are the type of unique lyrics that make me love listening to The Eeries.

I look forward to everything these fine young gentlemen will be making in the future, and I feel like what they have created with each other is unbelievable. This band has some of the best chemistry on (and off) stage and they put on one hell of a show. You can feel the heart and soul they put into every piece of music and each song speaks to you on a very personal level- that is what makes me want to keep listening.
